Inspired by a former on-site rock quarry that once supplied limestone for the city of Cincinnati, Twin Lakes Playground celebrates the natural history of the site and region. Limestone slab benches and boulders define the edges of the playground, and the custom play equipment echoes native trees and logs. The beautifully planted playground also includes a rain garden to collect storm water and a wide variety of plants that engage children’s senses.
